Make Money Blogging With Affiliate Marketing

Hi my name is Dennis and I am an affiliate marketer and blogger(read my short bio).
Today I would like to share with you how you can make money blogging with affiliate marketing! I personally believe that this method can bring you to some personal and financial freedom! Even if your unemployed or on a tight budget I can show you how to get started for FREE! This is not hype or false promises, although its going to take some determination and work your part. But once you get rolling you can create residual income and personal freedom. I spend my time working at the beach or in the local pub or quietly at home if I feel like it. You can do this anywhere you have an internet connection. I use a mobile hotspot on my phone to connect anywhere I can get a 4g signal. I can sit out on a boat just offshore in a cool breeze with a Miller Light , my honey and my dog and be productive! Sound too good to be true? Its not! What do I need to get started?

Well first off you need a website that is a blog. So what is a blog? Its also called a weblog or web log. It consists of posts that you will create on a regular basis.

Creating your blog is simple and yes you can start one for free. The platform I suggest is Word Press Its easy to use you don’t need any skills like coding or any of that technical stuff. Writing your blog.

This is one of the more challenging parts of this system. Do not let fear get in your way. There is lots of help to get you to be a master at writing clear and captivating posts.

That’s just a sampling of the kind of help you can get.
You need to learn to write in your own voice. It’s easy once you get going. If you are a slow typist like me you can use a voice program to speak your blog into text. Just make sure you proof read and edit! Sometimes I just do that on my phone as easy as pie. Then I download it to the laptop and go about creating the links and adding some media. Word Press and SiteRubix make these one click additions anyone can do. What you want to pay attention to is being interesting. The key is to show not tell! That is the basic of any creative writing course. To diversify you can ask for guest bloggers to post on your site. Sometimes they will do it for free others charge $50 to $100. Just remember that content is king. Make sure you read a guest bloggers post thoroughly and make sure they don’t have competing links in there. I like creating my own but that’s just me!

How am I going to make money from blogging with affiliate marketing?

This is the meat of the affair! Affiliate marketing is selling other peoples products thru links you create on your site. See my previous post explaining affiliate marketing.
First you must select a niche for your website. A niche is a profitable segment of a market.
niche-marketing Pick a niche about something you are passionate about. Something you know something about will be easier for you to write about. There are affiliate opportunities all over the place. There are big affiliate markets like Clickbank, JVZOO, and FlexOffers to name a few. Then there is Amazon, Ebay and even Walmart has a program. To find private affiliate opportunities just type the name of your niche with + affiliate opportunities into any search engine and you will see who is offering them. Sometimes the private opportunities are more profitable. You can even choose to just send leads to some business’s and they will pay you for the leads. The possibilities are endless!

Drive traffic to your blog!

This is also a key component to success. The search engines are the best free traffic out there but sometimes the hardest. You must master keyword searches and implement them properly. Wealthy Affiliate has a free keyword tool and there is also others with more perks like JAXXY. Who also has a free trial. Try it see if you like it. A lot of successful bloggers use tools like that. If its in your budget just go for it. The information is so valuable. In the beginning if your budget is tight stick with the free tools. Use social media to your advantage! Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Pinterist, and Linkdin are just some. I use them all and share my posts from the blog on them a couple times a week. It is a little time consuming but its free. My first 2 sales came from FB posts so I for one was convinced right off the bat. See the buttons go ahead and share my post and see how easy it is! Then there are free traffic generating sites, see my review of Leads Leap. There are many others to choose from. This is just another way to drive traffic for free! Join a forum and ask quality questions or give quality answers to others questions and include a link to your blog in the signature file. You would be surprised how many people click on it just to see who you are then if your site is captivating they will read and who knows they just might click on one of your affiliate links and wallah a sale!

Create an email list!

Try to capture email addresses on your site by offering a newsletter or even better a freebie! You can find freebies on the traffic sites or on Amazon or if your good, write your own ebook full of tips about your niche. Sign up for my newsletter to hear about my newest posts and offers. Sometimes I offer things that are not on the website in my emails. If you passed by the popup just leave me a reply or comment saying you want your email in my newsletter list and I will sign you up!
Just don’t be obnoxious and bombard people with useless emails and a bunch of offers. You want to be percieved as an expert in your niche. I only send one email a week at most!
You’ve probably heard the gurus saying the money is in the list! Well it might be but I feel the money is in how you use the list!

Hi Dennis, useful information were on Wealthy Affiliate. I joined the Wealthy Affiliate program and there is a whole host of information in there to get us going. I found that there is a lot to do but the work itself is enjoyable and rewarding.

Could I ask if you are blogging on a very popular niche are you not going to be blogging about the same things as other bloggers? How do you manage to keep your content unique?

  I try to look at everything from my own personal view keeping to keywords with a low Qsr as told in my training. It is a challenge to find a different point of view as to be unique. The market is huge and I am carving myself a piece. I research my subjects to see how deep the competition goes and strive to be different. I hope this explains my point of view.

Your website has a welcoming look and feel to it. Your information is to the point and well presented. My only suggestion would be to break your paragraphs into smaller units, but that’s just a personal preference. Other than that, this is great work, Dennis! Keep it up!

Thanks for the info! It sounds like a better business plan most I see around on the internet. There are so many ways to get scammed but building a blog with affiliate marketing is definitely better to create passive income!
